As part of the third-year curriculum at INSAS (Institut National Supérieur des Arts du Spectacle), cinematography students undertake a film recreation exercise in which they meticulously reproduce a selected sequence from an existing feature film. This exercise involves faithfully replicating every visual element of the original scene—camera framing and perspective, lighting atmospheres, set and prop design (including colors, textures, and materials), costume, and makeup.

The sequence is filmed in both analog (35mm) and digital formats (4K RAW & Log), allowing students to deepen their technical understanding and artistic control of both mediums.
For this edition of the project, the chosen scene came from Corpus Christi (2019), directed by Jan Komasa and shot by Piotr Sobociński Jr.

This collaborative effort was carried out by Charlotte Houben, Mado Berrenger, Lucie Muro, Luca Autrique, Gaspard Renier, Bérénice Farges, Oksana Luyssen, Suzanne Carré, Elsa Audevart, and Guido Vilela, under the guidance and supervision of Hélène Kufferath and Serge Hannecart.
